At Baptism, parents accept the responsibility of teaching and nurturing their children in the Catholic faith. This responsibility is also accepted by the church family and is the focus of the Religious Education Program of the Church of Saint Charles Borromeo of the Harlem Vicariate. Sunday school classes and activities for children and youth – in grades k through 8 – are designed to assist parents in their efforts to introduce God and His love and prepare children for the reception of the Sacraments.

Sunday school meets in the school cafeteria after the 10:00am mass. There, children are offered snacks, and then are escorted by their instructors to classrooms where their lessons begin. Dismissal is at 1:15pm.

It is our honor to welcome you and your child to our program, and walk with you on this very special journey. Classes begin in September.
