Reverend Timothy S. A. Wiggins was received into the Roman Catholic Church at Our Lady of Mercy in Port Chester in 1980. His pre-clerical career included directing nutritional services programs for major corporations while serving as rectory cook at Our Lady of Mercy. It was there that Fr Tim found his vocation - not to nourish bodies, but to nourish souls. “I saw the need to give, the need to help more people, to be of service. I was already in the service industry, and I wanted to take it to a higher level.”
He served summer assignments at St. Charles Borromeo in Harlem and was ordained a priest in 2002 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Fr Tim has taught as chaplain at Archbishop Stepinac High School (White Plains), as well as at St. Philip Neri (Bronx) and Immaculate Conception (Irvington). He served in associate pastor/administrator roles at St. Peter’s Church (Monticello, NY), St. John the Evangelist (White Plains), Our Lady of Mercy, and Our Lady of Sorrows (White Plains), before being installed as pastor at St Charles Borromeo, Resurrection, and All Saints Parish in 2021.
