A church is more than brick and mortar. For nearly 140 years, the Parish of St. Charles Borromeo, Resurrection and All Saints has witnessed, shaped and nurtured Catholic life in Harlem. Our church community has grown with this historic neighborhood. Our capital campaign is an investment in our cultural and spiritual legacy. The sacred spaces where nearly eight generations have gathered to worship, learn and serve are ready for renewal. Roofs, boilers and walls need immediate attention. With safe and welcoming facilities, our church deepens its work of nurturing faith, expanding outreach and uplifting the people we serve.


Faith in Action: A Three-Phase Approach - $15,000,000

To carry this mission forward, we are launching a $15,000,000 multi-year campaign to restore and renew our campuses, preserve our historic church, modernize key systems and expand our capacity to serve with compassion and vitality. Addressing these needs in phases protects our foundation and secures the future of our parish buildings.

Phase I: Safety & Stabilization ($6M)

Urgent roof replacements; façade repairs; spire stabilization; waterproofing; installation of new concrete flags; full retaining wall reconstruction and sidewalk repair and general maintenance to ensure safety and structural integrity.

Phase II: Accessibility & Green Upgrades ($4M)

ADA-compliant access; new energy systems and efficiency upgrades that reduce costs and honor stewardship.

Phase III: Restoration & Renewal ($5M)

Renewal of worship and community spaces; restoration of stained glass and masonry; rebuilding of grounds to preserve Harlem’s Catholic heritage.
